As part of their marketing efforts, AMG will be spearheading initiatives in 2018 including brand development, social media strategy development, social media post development, video content production, photography coordination and supervision, email marketing including branding, lead nurturing, and newsletter development, communications, and the updating of all collateral material.
This amount of work is no small task, but AMG has gained vast experience working with national and international brands throughout its almost 50-year history. “Some of our other clients, like Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort, require national and even international media buying and creative development,” says Soeurette Shook-Kelly, Director of Corporate Development for AMG. “We have the team and the skills in place to do all the work (and more) for a growing national brand like Salons by JC.”
AMG’s history with Salons by JC has been a long one. Beginning in 2013, AMG worked to produce an updated website. That grew into web hosting and updating collateral materials. Now as the official agency of record, they will be taking on even more responsibility. Kim Gresham, President of AMG, is ecstatic about the new prospects. “We love it when client relationships grow,” she says. “When we go from project-based work to becoming the business’s agency of record, it shows how much our clients value our work, our time, and our team. We’re elated to be working with Salons by JC, and can’t wait to help take this growing national brand to the next level.”
AMG has wasted no time bringing new ideas to Salons by JC’s marketing strategy. Most recently, they ran a brand new digital media test in the San Antonio area. The results from the campaign were very promising, and the team will begin expanding our digital marketing efforts in the region soon.
About Salons by JC: In 1997, Jack Griffey and Cecil Miller began their journey to transform the beauty industry one salon suite at a time. Like most young entrepreneurs, they started out with a big idea but had to learn how to start and run a business from scratch. After much perseverance and hard work, one year later, they opened Salons by JC in Dallas, TX in 1998, welcoming beauty and wellness specialists who were ready to break free from the traditional salon model. The company has since moved its headquarters from Dallas to San Antonio, where it continues to grow through franchising. Today, Salons by JC has over 87 locations in 24 states and Canada.
